Ingo Maurer has been designing unique lamps, lighting systems and objects since the 1960s. Craftsmanship is a large part of the brand's philosophy, which is evident in the fact that all products are created by hand with a focus on detail. Maurer designs with hand, heart and brain, and succeeded in ingeniously combining aesthetic expressions, functional elegance and inspiring play. Ingo Maurer creates both lamps for private use as well as large public lighting installations worldwide. Maurer found his inspiration for lighting design in life, and in the little different moments he experienced in his life. Ingo Maurer died in 2019, but his designs live on in the factory in Munich, in people's homes and in the street scene.
