Destroyers/builders is a Brussels-based design studio founded by Linde Freya Tangelder in 2015. As the name suggests, Linde Freya destroys designs to rebuild them again in her own visual language. By zooming in on basic architectural forms and materials and translating them into minimalist design, she gives overlooked objects the attention they deserve. This process makes each final object unique, which as works of art forms part of limited series of industrial design. The works all have a sculptural and architectural character, which contains a balance between modern and traditional elements.
