File Under Pop has a deep relationship with various forms of art that serves as a constant source of inspiration in their work. The collaboration with Danish artist, Mathias Malling Mortensen explores a series of hand-glazed lava stone slabs with patterns created together with using File Under Pop colours. The overall theme of the collection is a playful take on waves – waves of water, waves of light or wave sound.

All boards are carefully crafted from natural Italian lava stone, before each board
glazed by hand at our production site in Valencia, Spain. The result is one
completely unique product that shows traces of the individual craftsmanship involved
the production of the boards and highlights the artistic expression.
