The Alban collection was designed before Akua was even born by Annika, while she had her first-born son Alban in her womb. The collection was thus inspired by the budding life, which can be traced in the fine shape of the glass, which seems to take shape like a flower that grows upwards. Alban wine glasses are unique in that they are individually mouth-blown, which sometimes leaves fine, small air holes, as a story from the person behind who has blown the glass to life.
