Charvet Editions has been based in the town of Armentiéres in northern France for more than a century. The city is particularly known for being the "city of canvas" due to their production of beautiful cotton fabrics. At the beginning of the 20th century, the company began to produce material woven from flax yarn, and has since become the leading French producer of industrial fabrics in natural materials.
