Salahuddin
Jean-François Vaillant lived for several years in Damascus in Syria, where he became friends with the glassblowers who worked next to where he lived. When he later returned to France, he decided to maintain the friendship and strong relationship with the glassblowers by promoting their beautiful work in the French as well as the international market. Salaheddin glass is mouth-blown from recycled glass from Syria. The shapes of the glasses have slight differences, which is due to the fact that they are each mouth-blown. Thus, each object is unique.
