The work seen here is part of a series of nine woodcuts, O'NEUN 2018. They were created in a collaboration between the Ukrainian visual artist and architect Marta Dyachenko and the two Danish visual artists Anton Peitersen and Niels Peitersen. The works are created across generations and national borders, and where the focus is on developing a spontaneous visual language in woodcuts together. Woodcut as a discipline requires a lot of planning and agreement on the rhythm of the process, in order to be able to work in the different layers at the same time and get the works to land on their feet.
Two works from the series are exhibited at Aarhus Kunsthal in connection with KP20 27/3-25/4.
